Yellowwood Forest offers backpackers (sleeps 8), camping (6 people per site, up to a max of 100 guests) and accommodation (2, 3 or 4 sleeper) in Morgan Bay for nature loving travelers, families and groups. Positioned with easy access to both the beach and hidden forests of Morgan Bay and nestled in a tranquil bushveld setting with forest access, river frontage and enchanted trails. We are pet friendly, but strictly by arrangement.

Dorm Rooms: 2x double bunk rooms, linen provided. The Dorm rooms share a communal lounge, self catering kitchen and bathroom facilities. Lockable cupboards, books, board games, a dart board and tv, fire pit, braai grid and pots for open fire cooking are available.

Campsites: The campsite has 30 stands, 12 of which have electrical points. Max. 6 persons per site and a maximum of 100 campers allowed in total. There is parking for 1 vehicle per site.

Cob Cottage: is a luxury self catering family unit sleeping four (2x Doubles) or Seven at a push (+ 1x Double + 1x Single Sleeper couches) Linen provided but please bring your own towels. The large honeymoon suite upstairs has a private deck with a forest view guaranteed to give one a new perspective. It has a bathroom and toilet as well as an outside, covered hot water shower. The kitchen has a toaster, kettle, gas cooking hob and an electric oven, as well as a small bar fridge. Pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, glasses etc. are provided.

The loft: is a cozy thatched room above the gift shop sleeping 2. It has a very steep stair case, so one needs to be agile and sober. It has a double bed and 2 comfy chairs. There’s an electric light and plug point for charging electronics. The loft is ideal for a getaway where cooking is not part of your plan. The campsite ablutions are used and are approx. 50m away.

The Bush Camp: sleeps two (double) + One (single) + a campsite is thatched, wooden and particularly rustic. It is positioned right on the river, is cool and shaded but gets the best of the afternoon sun. The unit has a small open deck with a table, chairs and 2 plate gas stove and kettle. Three stairs lead up into a single room with 2 big windows from which to view the forest. The shared campsite ablutions are approx. 50m away.
