On a 7Km gravel road at the very end of Agate Terrace, surrounded by virgin forests, unspoiled mountains and empty beaches lies Gecko's Place, offering a range of accommodation options. Guests can choose either the 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom Family Cottage sleeping 8 guests in total. Another option will be the 2 caravan stands or the 5 additional camping spots.
The Family Lodge an open plan kitchen, and a private deck. This unit has a TV with local channels or bring your own DStv decoder and Smart Card. Both the caravans and the camp site have electricity hook-ups as well as a comfortable ablution block.
Gecko's Place offers you a safe base from where you can explore Pondoland and the Wild Coast. Visit nearby Poenskop, a wonderful beach and well-known angling spot. Mboktyi and the Grosvenor shipwreck sites are also among the local attractions. Nearer home, you can walk the 8km beach situated on our doorstep or simply enjoy a sun downer overlooking the garden. It is a wonderful, peaceful spot where one can simply relax and let the rest of the world continue by on its way. Minimum 2-night booking required.
