Wild Lubanzi offers backpacker accommodation in 2 Safari Tent Double Rooms, and a Rondavel Dorm with 8 beds. Homestay accommodation includes a family cottage and 2 Double rooms. At the end of the road somewhere on the wild coast, where the rhythm of life is still pure, off the grid with breathtaking views in every direction. Climb into your skin, open up, breathe... Lubanzi is as "away from everything" as you can possibly be.
Running solely on solar in the day and nights are illuminated by the soft glow of lanterns. The "Rocket Showers" work on paraffin, and a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge and freezer provides delicious home cooked meals from ur organic garden. Each dinner is an idividual creation from the chef of the day, prepared from scratch and rural as it may be... we do have FREE WiFi.
The Lubanzi caves and Mncwasa River Mouth are a short walk away, with a host of local bird life and unique experiences to be had- your hosts lack no inspiration. The area can easily be explored on foot, with no need to be extra fit. The hikes are fairly easy and each leg of the journey - from one backpackers to the next - takes about 4 to 5 hours. As a special service to you, we offer free luggage transfers from one backpackers to the next.
